Hacienda Sepulveda was built in 1684 and is located on the outskirts of the small charming colonial town of Lagos de Moreno in central Mexico. This property instantly takes visitors back to a colonial era with its beautiful grounds, original woodwork, vaulted ceilings, and working farm. All accommodations are decorated differently in an elegant colonial style and facilities include an outdoor pool, lake, horseback riding, and a newly opened spa. The cuisine served at Hacienda Sepulveda is traditional Mexican and the in-house chef uses recipes that have been passed down through the owning family for decades. Organic vegetables and fruits are harvested on the property, which are used in the kitchen, and eggs come fresh from the many chickens seen prancing about the gardens. Needless to say, the cuisine is fresh as can be!
